Wind Crystals Installation Art

Wind Crystals

Mahogany wood is cut at two special angles to create tapered polygonal frames, which are joined into a truss structure that can be extended freely. Only two component types form the whole body, so the parts are prepared in a factory and the on-site assembly time is kept short. The installation covers 24 square meters and turns with the sea breeze, following light and shadow along the coast.
