Splashy

The inspiration came from the blending process of coffee and milk. The project intends to capture the beauty of fluid by simulating movements of liquid flows. The collision of liquids on the surface creates irregular crown splashes and melts into ripples. These random abstract shapes add interesting features to the tableware and make the food more attractive. The solid structures allow the saucers to hold more food as well. Suggestions Tableware

Suggestions

Suggestions is a porcelain tableware collection made for professional kitchens. Each piece answers a practical serving need rather than a formal idea. One dish holds ice above a hidden reservoir, so melted water is kept away from the food. A second version holds dry ice to cool dishes such as sushi and release a light vapour. Another item keeps caviar on ice without mixing the two. Plates with an irregular dot texture separate meat juices from the food. Small porcelain trays allow guests to eat comfortably while standing. Reactive glazes were developed for the collection.

Riposo Coffee Set

Riposo

The design of this service was inspired by two schools of the early 20th century the German Bauhaus and the Russian avant-garde. Strict straight geometry and well-thought-out functionality fully corresponds to the spirit of the manifestos of those times: "what is convenient is beautiful". At the same time following modern trends the designer combines two contrasting materials in this project. Classic white milk porcelain is complemented by bright lids made of cork. Functionality of the design is supported by simple, convenient handles and the overall usability of the form.

The Érimón Whiskey Glass

The Érimón

The Erimon was designed as the ultimate tasting glass for the whiskey aficionado, where every element has been carefully conceived to allow the drinker to taste and nose the whiskey. The stemless design allows the drinker to bring the glass to the nose with optimal control and the thicker base ensures the contact between hand and glass has no effect on the temperature of the whiskey. The Vortex Point, bulb and chicane come together to remove the ethanol vapor, ensuring the drinker can detect every layer of flavor and aroma that have developed through decades of time, craft and skill.
