Re Created

Collection creates a new aesthetic through waste and scrap from the sewing industry. Model design is born from a vivid combination of scraps, colours, proportions and textures. Each model is different and unique. The design reveals a variety of wear options, from a classic snug suit to oversize. Models created from pieces symbolize versatility and multiplicity of a person, inspiring users to rethink their values and re-create their self's. For the presentation, author chose a place that sometimes resembles new constructions and sometimes an apocalypse, which makes to rethink future scenarios.

Shirt Style

Shirt Style is a down jacket designed for daily wear in cold weather. The jacket uses an H shaped silhouette that suits a wide range of body shapes and allows versatile pairing. The outer fabric is made from imported 25D ultra fine yarn, which lowers the weight and improves durability. The filling is Hungarian goose down with 800 fluffiness and 1000 cleanliness, placed by a direct fill process that varies the amount of down according to the warmth needed in each section. Seamless glue pressing and leakproof sewing prevent down leakage.

Stealth is a down jacket that can be folded into a U-shaped pillow. The lower section folds upward to form a neck support, and buckles are adjusted to fit the neck. The outer fabric is renewable bamboo fiber, while the inner fabric is graphene fiber. Seams are made with high-strength nylon thread and double-needle stitching. The aim is to provide warmth and a place to rest during travel.

The Growth Curve

The Growth Curve is a deformable garment designed to change shape and to offer several ways of wearing. Fishbone strips form the supporting frame and are sewn directly onto elastic fabric. The uneven force created by the crossing strips makes the fabric curl and form spiral and raised surfaces, giving the garment a light and breathable three-dimensional structure. The method allows complex forms to be made without splicing separate panels. Less fabric waste is produced during production, which supports energy saving in the clothing industry.

Poem Sapce is a minimal waste dress that combines an innovative pleating method with zero waste cutting. Localized fabric shrinkage shapes the cloth, forming organic three dimensional folds instead of cutting material away. Each pleat position is fixed by hand and mapped onto cardboard for small batch production. The sculptural folds move with the body and offer both comfort and structure.

While it is possible to explore almost every corner of the Earth on computer screens, is it possible to rediscover the world? This collection is inspired by receding views of Earth, where buildings, streets, and cars fade, leaving only geometrized contours. Coats made from sewing industry waste, it leads a new sustainable aesthetic. The textures of the fabrics resemble shifting landscapes, like maps seen from above, urging reflection on sustainability and global political tensions. The coat symbolizes warmth, offering refuge against life’s fragility and the uncertainty of changing world.

A waterproof adjustable hood, waterproof seal tape treatment and large capacity pockets add protection and practicality. A 3D draping cut supports a close fit and free movement.

Zen Explorer is a menswear collection made from antique textiles and naturally dyed fabrics. Historic cloth is collected and sorted by scale, thickness and season, then combined with new material dyed by the traditional indigo method. The indigo is produced through fermentation, without industrial chemicals. Much of the work is done by hand, so traditional crafts and patterns are retained. The collection joins old fabric with contemporary upcycling, and offers durable and unique daily clothing.
