Transition Exhibition

Transition

Transition is a flower exhibition that presents the 1400 year tradition of Japanese flower arrangement, known as ikebana, in a contemporary setting. The open layout has no rear wall, so visitors walk freely and view each arrangement from many angles instead of only from the front. Natural sunlight and responsive lighting change through the day, so the space and the living flowers shift continuously. Modular pedestals are 3D printed from recyclable resin and can be taken apart and reused. The level, barrier-free floor keeps all areas accessible.

Vitrine MDS

The space was designed as a temporary exhibition inside a store, aiming to present office furniture in a more gallery like and less commercial way. Instead of a formal retail display, the layout allows each piece to be experienced with more attention and clarity. The dark gray interior of the store acts as a contrasting backdrop for a rich selection of almost monochromatic fabrics and finishes. These tones were carefully chosen to highlight the design and details of each piece while keeping the overall composition calm and visually balanced.
