Beach Cabin on the Baltic Sea Hospitality

Beach Cabin on the Baltic Sea

This small diner on a Baltic Sea beach near Gdansk with its simple form fits naturally into the beach environment. The building offers two areas: an opaque part with windows and a fully glazed winter garden. The transparent glass house not only offers an unrestricted view of the sea and the beach but also uses solar energy in a passive way to improve indoor comfort in a relatively cool climate in northern Poland. The Solarlux system construction of the winter garden with its slim wood-aluminum profiles enables a filigree effect.

Crossing Walls House and Office

Crossing Walls

Crossing Walls is a building that combines an office on the lower floor with a home on the upper floor. Three L shaped walls separate and intertwine, and a cube form is broken apart to create open and closed spaces. The walls hold a moderate relationship with the surroundings, letting light and air enter while privacy is kept. Window positions are planned to control sunlight, heat load and outside views. A void open to the sky links the interior with the exterior. The structure follows conventional Japanese wooden construction on a 910 millimeter grid, which saves material and is left exposed.

Forest Archetype House

Forest Archetype

Forest Archetype is a residential project that translates the spatial order of a forest into a compact architectural form. The design is organized through a layered structural system rather than conventional room divisions. Vertical structural elements define movement and activities while maintaining visual continuity across the interior.
