Thus spoke marble:the journey alters you is Turkish Stones' emotional exposition at milan's Fuori Salone 2012

THUS SPOKE THE MARBLE: the journey alters you is by Turkish Stones company exhibition that took place in Tortona’s design district during the Milano Design Week. It’s been organized by the Istanbul Mineral Exporters’ Association (IMIB) ,the Aegean Mineral Exporters’ Association (EMIB) and curated by Demirden Design.Through this exhibitions it standed out company's love and passion for this particular natural material.Turkey is infact located in one of the oldest marble geography production with over 4000 years of experience in the field.Turkish Stones' garden at superstudio più invites the visitors to make an emotional ‘journey’ through their marble’s products interpretation having the possibility to touch and breathe the particolar atmosphere that this material can add to its sorrounding environment. Shape games, natural allusions and such evocative reflections represent the peculiarities of this exhibition trying to show how marble’s features can change by the way it will worked and modeled. At the entrance of the stand what immediately jumps to visitor’s attentions is a huge marble table that creates allusions to water’s irregular but perfectly geometric surface reminding to the effect produced by the rain falling down on a river.Even though marble is such a strong and heavy material the table i salso given a sense of dynamism thanks to fisehes sculpted shapes trying to jump off the water.
