Monochro
Seen at Salone Satellite: Hanagasumi by Japanese design duo Monochro. This tableware made of cherry tree bark and bands of bright colours won us over. Elegant tea canisters and cups, as well as a simple and stunning serving tray make up this handmade collection.

From Yuhang
The three lead designers Zhang Lei, Christoph John and Jovana Bogdanovic and their team spent two years of extensive research on Yuhang’s natural and traditional materials. The 10 exhibited works are focused on original Yuhang Bamboo, Water Silk Floss, Porcelain and Bamboo Paper – interpreted in a modern design language.

Ilaria Innocenti
La vita di Ilaria Innocenti è un susseguirsi quasi fastidioso di successi. Emiliana, classe 1983, lavora nel campo del product e interior design. Da due anni partecipa al Salone del Mobile di Milano con delle autoproduzioni e porta avanti il suo lavoro di ricerca su un linguaggio decorativo che unisce disegni a mano libera, texture e suggestioni, come a formare le trame di un racconto.

uno studio di design Hiromatsu che realizza mobili ecosostenibili, fatti per durare nel tempo, con una intera collezione dedicata alla cameretta dalle linee funzionali e divertenti. Le seggioline con le orecchie da coniglio sono adorabili!

Barcelona-based industrial design studio Mermelada Estudio was co-founded by Juan Miguel (also called Juanmi) Juárez, Laura Blasco and Alex Estévez. Their projects – which strive to be distinctive – counterbalance a strong, individual character with neutrality and understatement.

studio if is a place for creating new ways of interaction with the physical world. The studio is the practice of Taiwanese designer Chia-Ying Lee, who graduated from the MA program of Interaction Design Institute Ivrea, Italy in 2006.
