Let’s have a general look at the bologna’s International trade fair for ceramic and bathroom design.
One of the first aspects that always comes to sight in this case is organization. In a trade fair it is very important for a customer or an external visitor to get inside the area easilly and quickly. Another important aspect is communication accuracy, that allows people to be aware about all the offered services and to be able to orientate themselves in the fair. From this point of view the Bologna 2012 international trade fare has been projected very well. It was very easy to found a stand instead of another also thanks to the strategical position given to the helping maps. This is nota n aspect to be neglected because a good communication is what gives an added value to a good design, architecture ecc. and especially to an event. The exposision and the stands inside the fair were also very well done and impressive. It was clear how the companies are trying to impress visitors and costumers by creating their own atmosphere. Soft lights, games of water, relaxing sounds can valorise both the products and the image of a company. It is becoming more and more used to put natural elements inside the stands; for example the visitors could frequentely notice those shower particular systems in which the water falling down from the faucet was used clash to a stone covered floor. This situation creates a sound that doesn’t remind of a typical bathroom shower one, but you seem to be hearing the sound of a waterfall inside a natural environment. This is another aspect that derives from a great design-study of the spaces and relaxing methods.
